The Ask
Netflix / Night School Studios wanted to launch the sequel to their successful indie video game ‘Oxenfree’ but they knew they did not understand social media, their audiences or how to develop a true marketing plan. They wanted us to educate them on tactics and also help plan their year leading up to launch.
The Work
We provided step-by-step walk-throughs on a number of tasks including:
running a UGC campaign
identifying audiences on TikTok
partnering with gaming platforms (Nintendo, Apple, Xbox, etc.)
integrating fan art into a GTM strategy

The Results
The Oxenfree release was delayed until 2023, but ultimately the game was well received, getting an almost perfect score from the New York Times and leading the launch of Netflix’s mobile gaming platform release.
